©POP Gallery is proud to present: Persons of Interest: A 2-person exhibition of paintings, prints and installations by Bask and Tes One. The exhibition opens with a reception on the evening of June 28th, 2008 with the artists in attendance, and will continue through mid August.
Persons of Interest is a carefully intersecting body of work that is both autobiographical in meaning and collective in purpose. Please join the artists at the opening reception on June 28th, 7pm until 11pm.

Jimi Hendrix Tribute: “Slight Return”

Last month, I had the privilege of creating a custom painting dedicated to Jimi Hendrix. The good folks over at Corbis had commissioned the work for the Palais at the Cannes Lions Awards. The imagery of the painting was inspired by the amazing photography of Henry Diltz, and the final piece was put on display as a massive billboard outside of the Palais.
The painting, “Slight Return” has been donated to the Jimi Hendrix Estate, and is currently on display at MofAA.
